Blogoncherry.com – August 29 is the day when Michael Jackson came to the Earth. In this year of 2012, the King of Pop should have celebrated his 54th birthday if he is still alive. Unfortunately, only his family and children who can celebrate the birthday.
Michael Jackson’s three children, Prince (15), Paris (14), and Blanket (10) have a trip to Gary, Indiana, where Michael had his childhood, to attend the four-day-event tribute held by their grandmother, Katherine Jackson.
Paris sent a tweet on Wednesday morning to greet his father by saying: “Thru my joy & my sorrow, in the promise of another 2morrow, I’ll never let u apart for u’re always in my heart… happy birthday, I love u daddy.”
Michael’s children not only come for the events, but also to enjoy some games in Indiana. Prince, Paris, and Blanket, seem enjoy their time at Six Flags in Gurnee, Indiana with their aunt, La Toya Jackson and their cousin, TJ Jackson.
And indeed, Katherine has planned to create some events to commemorate the Beat It hitmaker. Here are the plans for the events.
In the evening on Aug 29, the candlelight tribute will be held outside Michael’s childhood home. Another event of a baseball game will be held on the next day in Gary SouthShore RailCats. On Friday (Aug 31), the mayor of Gary, Karen Freeman-Wilson will be the host for a special dinner to honour Katherine and also her son, Michael Jackson. Then, there will be a tribute concert as the last event, which will be held on Saturday (Sept 1) at the local West Side Theatre Guild.
Those events, namely “Goin’ Back to Indiana: Can You Feel It”, are created to recall the memory about Michael Jackson. Michael’s popularity drives Gary residents to participate in those events.
