Blogoncherry.com - Every people will always remember about the success of first man landing on the moon. When the U.S was led by President John Kennedy, they made a mission to land human on the moon. In order to explore and take the sample soil of the moon surface, the U.S government launched the Mission Apollo 11.

The 8-day-mission managed to land human for the first time. This event made the U.S becomes the first country that sent human to the moon successfully.

Apollo 11 had 3 crews. They are Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins. Neil Armstrong was the leader of this first astronouts. That’s why, most of people just remember the name of Neil Armstrong if they are asked about the first man who walk on the moon.

After came back to the Earth, all of them were gloriously hailed by all of the U.S citizens. Also, the government itself awarded Neil Armstrong with the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Space Medal of Honor.
