Thousands of people flocked to one house in Guadalajara, Mexico, after the owner of the house claimed he had found a “real” fairy. It is Jose Maldonado, a 22 year old unemployed bricklayer, who found the so called fairy and broke the silence of the poor Guadalajara neighborhood.
The people made a queue, waiting for their turn to witness what could be the most fascinating finding of the century in front of Maldonado’s house. The young Maldonado saw an opportunity of this occurrence for him to make money, since he is an unemployed. Each person has to pay for about $1.60 to see the fairy.
In an interview with EFE, Mexican news agency, Maldonado first thought the fairy was just a firefly.
“I was picking guavas and I saw a twinkling. I thought it was a firefly. I picked it up and felt that it was moving; when I looked at it I knew that it was a fairy godmother,” he said.
Now, Maldonado has put the 2 cm fairy in a small dish for the people to see. The gold reddish fairy has died, but it is unclear how she died.
Perhaps, Maldonado could have a better life by being a fairy hunter. At least 3,000 people who are curious about the fairy have come to pay for a glimpse of the real life Tinkerbell.
