A serial Butt Slasher is out loose in Fairfax, Northern Virginia. Three more victims had stepped forward and reported that their bottoms had been slashed. The wounds suggested it may be a cutter or some sort. A total of nine incidents has been reported to the media and the Slasher is still out there.

Started from February, almost two women each month at shopping malls have their butt vandalized and severely injured. Most of the women will recover and heal properly but there is one poor victim. The wound was to deep it might heal longer and a chance of a permanent mark will remain is big.

Reports from the local police said,  ”Several of the reports were filed in late July after detectives connected the cases and determined that there may be one individual responsible for all (or most) of the assaults.”

“People are coming forward,” said Lucy Caldwell, of Fairfax County police. “It’s not surprising. We wouldn’t be surprised if we received additional reports.” she added

These are the official police list released:

- July 25, Fair Oaks Mall, Forever 21 – June 20, Greenbriar Shopping Center, Marshalls – June 18, Tysons Corner Mall, H&M – June 8, Fairfax Towne Center, T.J. Maxx – May 16, Fair Oaks Mall, Ann Taylor – March 11, Tysons Corner Center, H&M – February 14, Fair Oaks Mall, near Champps – February, Fair Oaks Mall (no other info available) – February, Fair Oaks Mall, Forever 21(no other info available)

How it happened are similar in each case and seem to follow a type of pattern. After the slashing, the serial slasher distracted everybody around by knocking anything down near the victim and calmly walked away avoiding any suspicion.

The slasher is known to be a big build Hispanic 5 foot 6. The police hope the media will help in identifying the Butt Slasher.
