I know that Rebecca Black with her “Friday” is not so favorable but I think it is too harsh that people make her dropping out of school because of their bullying acts. Rebecca the YouTube sensation discussed the abuse when she was interviewed in ABC’s Primetime Nightline. She said the bullying acts forced her mother to take her back from the school and find private teachers for home schooling.

She said in the interview, “When I walk by they’ll start singing ‘Friday’ in a really nasally voice. Or you know, they’ll be like, ‘Oh hey Rebecca, guess what day it is?’”

Rebecca’s mother said the words given by her daughter were true. Georgina Marquez said that it was right that Rebecca left the school. It was good for the family. She said, “Rebecca certainly did not need that kind of pressure.”

Rebecca felt that it was her fame that made the people around her became so vicious to her. She said “It’s hard to go to school when you are so famous and to have kids constantly making fun of what’s going on.”

But it was amazing that Rebecca still got the guts after the so many terrible comments and death threats that Rebecca received every day. She said she knows how to deal with such things because she had a lot of similar experience beforehand.

She said, “I think if I hadn’t had to deal with that in the past then I totally would have handled this differently and I would have gone down in burning flames. But I’ve learned that you just can’t let it get to you.”
